Bloom Kits was Bloomscape's first outdoor product launch, a completely new vertical with a hard deadline and a creative challenge unlike anything we'd done before. Every SKU in our catalog to that point had been an indoor houseplant. This was patio plants, seasonal starters, and outdoor accessories, and we needed imagery that showed customers both how the plants would arrive and how they'd look fully grown.
That multi-layer requirement made production complex. We needed starter plants, unboxing moments, and peak-bloom lifestyle imagery - shot in the middle of a Michigan winter. To solve it, we sourced fully grown plants from a Florida greenhouse and timed it just right to make sure plants were hitting peak bloom on set.
Production was split into two tracks: I led studio product photography and fully produced the instructional video series - scripting, set design, and directing on set - while collaborating with LMNOP on pre-production for the outdoor and fully grown plant imagery.
